The King's Road Four Respects

The "Four Respects" support our school and system philosophy and code of conduct (found in your student agenda).

At King's Road, we encourage all citizens of the school to strive to demonstrate:

1. RESPECT for Self

2. RESPECT for Others

3. RESPECT for Learning

4. RESPECT for Community

Paws-itively Awesome Awards

The students of King's Road can earn Paws-itively Awesome Awards for being noticed doing something great. Any staff member can recognize any student for many different positive expression such as:

1. Acts of good citizenship

2. Caring for the environment

3. Helping others

4. Outstanding effort

5. Any academic achievements

"The Paw"

After the "Paw" is given to the student, the student brings one half to the office. Their names are announced on the P.A. system everyday. At the end of the week, there is a draw. The students who win are invited to choose something from the goodie bag. Good Luck to all.

Another regular recognition of students are the Kingsley Awards. These awards are given to students three (3) times a year for academic achievement, effort, and citizenship are described under our Mascot page.
